Who is SRTI?
The Spaceport Research & Technology Institute, or SRTI, exists as an enabler for Research and Commercialization at the NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC). SRTI originally began as collaboration between ASRC Aerospace, under the University-affiliated Spaceport Technology Development Contract (USTDC), and the University of Central Florida (UCF) Office of Research & Commercialization.
The Consortium now includes universities from around the country, with more joining every month.
Why are they joining?
Because SRTI represents the best access to the dozens of laboratories, test beds and research facilities at KSC. With the new U.S. commitment to go back to the Moon, and beyond, with new vehicles and new systems, Florida has become an exciting place pursue research opportunities.
